NEVER

Her words are
Daggers to my heart
A thousand wounds
A thousand scars
She buried my passion
And set in stone

Never was
(Never was)
Never will
(Never will)
Never was
(Never was)
Never will
(Never will)
Never will
(Never will)

(Keep dreaming)
I'll keep dreaming
I'll keep dreaming
(Dream on)
I'll dream on
And on
And on
And on

Empty kisses
Never felt so good
Dreams
Never felt so real

Never was
Never will
Never was
Never will
Never will
Never will

dang, sometimes when i read your writing.

okay, i lied, most of the time when i read your writing i feel like you are explaining myself. like you have spilled out the words that hang in the back of my mind for me.

i love it.

Interesting! Like most of your poems, this too reads like a song. Keep up the good work!

Is the worse thing you could ever say to someone: "Never was"

I can deal with "Never will" but "Never was" kills past memories.

I love your poems. Full of such emotion. Its been a while since I've wandered on and I have lots to catch up on. I'll be doing that for the rest of the day xx

Granted it's depressing, it still seems to lurch out and grab the reader by the face, screaming "LOOK AT ME!"

It reads like a song, which I like about most of your writing.

Always dream on -never stop dreaming! I like this one. I can relate to the Swallowing Pride poem of your previous post.
